We conducted a course in Alexandria, Egypt teaching modern techniques in Perianal Fistula and ingrown hair disease. On Friday, following the theoretical part in the morning, we had practical application on the animal tissue in the afternoon.
On Saturday morning, I did 3 live hair rotation and anal fistula surgeries and the trainees watched with a closed-circuit broadcast. It was a successful course. Surgeons from the region from Iraq to Libya, who gave feedback, used very encouraging expressions, we decided to advance the cooperation so that both proctology and minimally invasive surgery could be widespread in the region and applied with higher success.
