In the symposium on Bodily Harm organized by the Presidency of the TBB, we took part in the section on bodily damages arising from medical interventions. It was a very successful and useful meeting. We have expressed the necessity of legal support and assurance for the higher level of medical service in our country as well as in every environment. The way to advance in this area is to work and study. As I listened to the participants and saw their knowledge both at the academic level and in terms of the judiciary, I felt very good and my confidence in my country increased. I have no doubt that the problems in the application will be corrected faster as they are expressed in such environments. An important step was taken with this symposium. The TBB hall was full. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the arrangement, especially Prof. Dr. Necdet Basa, Mr. Sema Güleç Uçakhan and the chairman Av Prof Dr Metin Feyzioğlu. Of course, repetitions will be made, better ones will be done, but especially in the last 3-5 years, very productive studies have been carried out both by the Presidency of the Court of Cassation and the Union of Bar Associations of Turkey, and we are hoping that everything will get better in our country.
